Actress, Writer & Creator Rebekah Miskin was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She’s been acting, writing and dancing since she could walk and talk. Rebekah created the web series, NIGHT OWL, which made its World Premiere as Official Selection at SXSW 2018 to stellar reviews & sold out screenings. Additionally, NIGHT OWL won the Alan Sawyer Award for Excellence Across Multiple Screen Platforms and was Official Selection at NFMLA 2018 and CPFF 2018. Rebekah was awarded Bell Media’s BravoFACT grant for CHECKING OUT, a short film she wrote, produced, starred in, and co-directed with Writer/Director Gillian Muller. Select acting credits include KIM’S CONVENIENCE (Netflix), MURDOCH MYSTERIES, (Netflix), LONG STORY SHORT, (HULU), REVIVING OPHELIA, (Lifetime) as well as the short film, A SUBSEQUENT LIFE, which she co-directed with actress, Katie Boland, (Palm Springs Int’l Film Fest, Toronto Int’l Short Film Fest, LA Femme Film Fest, Toronto Indie Film Fest). Rebekah recently graduated from Ryerson University with a Masters in Media Production and was the recipient of the Ryerson Graduate Fellowship Scholarship. Currently, she splits her time between Toronto and Los Angeles.
